Majic Partners

Network-grade work, without network-grade prices.

Strategy, creative and production for marketing leaders at established brands. Thirty years of agency and brand leadership, delivered directly, with modern tools doing the work that used to need a floor of people.

I've run the agencies. I know where the money goes.

I spent my career on the agency side of the table. At Y&R I ran the business in Indochina (Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos) and then Indonesia, where I led four agency brands and more than 140 people as Group CEO. At BBDO I spent five years as Regional Business Director on Ford, responsible for half the world.

I watched clients pay USD 1–2 million a year for work that can now be done more simply, faster, and with far fewer people between the brief and the output.

Most of that fee funds structure. Account layers, handoffs, overheads and hours. Majic Partners takes the structure out and keeps the thinking.

What Majic Partners does

Project work or embedded support, scoped to what your team actually need

Brand strategy and positioning

Clarifying what the brand stands for, who it's for and why it wins, in language your teams can use.

Campaign strategy and ideas

Big ideas and campaign platforms, developed to the standard you'd expect in a network pitch.

Creative and production

Copy, design, video and digital assets, using modern tools and specialist producers where they add value.

Media and channel review

An independent look at where your media money goes and whether the plan still fits the brief.

Agency roster and scope reviews

Rationalising agencies, rewriting scopes and fee models, or running an agency selection.

Embedded senior strategist

Regular senior days inside your team, for brands without that seniority in-house.

The obvious question

Can one person deliver at our standard?

You get one senior lead as your single point of accountability, supported by a small, vetted bench: creatives, social media experts, producers, designers, developers and media specialists I've worked with, brought in when the work needs them and directed by me.

What you don't get is the part that slows agencies down. No account managers relaying messages, no handovers between teams, no juniors learning on your budget.

The person who writes the strategy is the person who makes sure it gets made.

Who it's for

Challenger and mid-market brands

Paying network-level fees and not getting network-level attention.

Regional teams at multinationals

Marketing leads across Asia-Pacific and Southeast Asia who need senior support close to their time zone.

Brands reviewing agency costs

Under pressure to do more with the same budget, or the same with less.

Teams wanting a second opinion

When the agency relationship has gone stale and you need an experienced outside view.

Where most engagements start

The Agency Value Audit

A fixed-fee, independent review of your agency roster, scopes and fees. You'll see exactly what your spend is buying and where it could go further, whether or not you work with Majic afterwards.

Fixed fee of $10,000. Confidential, under NDA, and with no obligation.
